Meta One Bundles Paid Features Across Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp From $2.99

Meta launched Meta One on September 15, 2026, a subscription service that bundles paid features across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp with expanded access to the company’s AI tools. The plans target individual users, creators, and businesses, with pricing from $2.99 per month for single-app subscriptions to $499 per month for the highest business tier.

The lineup has three layers. Single-app plans, WhatsApp Plus at $2.99 and Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus at $3.99 each, focus on personalization and expression: custom fonts and app icons, super reactions, extended 48-hour Stories, story viewer insights, and anonymous story browsing. Two consumer bundles, Core at $7.99 and Premium at $19.99, combine those perks with heavier Meta AI access, including more image and video generation through Meta’s Muse models and in-app AI features like Instagram’s Restyle. In early bundle tests, more than half of subscribers used both AI and expression features, with Restyle and voice effects among the top reasons people subscribed.

Four creator and business tiers carry the professional tooling. Essential at $14.99 combines verification, impersonation protection, and access to Meta Business Agent on WhatsApp for round-the-clock customer responses. Advanced at $49.99 adds scheduling Instagram Stories up to 30 days ahead, clickable links in organic posts and Reels, exportable analytics, deeper audience insights, and team-member account access without password sharing. Expert runs $149, and the $499 Max tier adds unlimited human support including scheduled calls with a Meta employee. Meta says the service has reached 15 million subscriptions and trials combined, and that core app functions and basic Meta AI access remain free.

The launch is Meta’s push to diversify beyond advertising while funding a projected $125 to $145 billion in 2026 AI infrastructure spending, charging the heaviest AI users for the compute they burn. The company has hinted the subscription features will expand to the Edits video app and its AI glasses.

For creators, the math to run: the $14.99 Essential tier buys verification plus impersonation protection, which has real value for anyone fighting copycat accounts, while the $49.99 Advanced tier’s scheduled Stories and clickable links in organic posts replace third-party tools many creators already pay for. Audit what you currently spend on scheduling and link tools before subscribing, and remember the Plus tiers do not remove ads.
