Razer has unveiled the Basilisk V4 Pro gaming mouse, featuring a newly designed tilt wheel and up to 275 hours of battery life on a single charge. The announcement, made on October 9, 2026, positions the device as a high-end option for creators and gamers seeking extended wireless use without frequent recharging. The tilt wheel adds horizontal scrolling functionality, a feature increasingly valuable in creative workflows involving timeline editing or multi-axis navigation.

Alongside the V4 Pro, Razer released the Basilisk V4 Hyperspeed variant and a dedicated charging dock. While the Hyperspeed model likely prioritizes low-latency wireless performance, the dock offers a convenient charging solution for users who prefer wired convenience with wireless freedom. The company did not disclose pricing or exact availability dates in the initial announcement.

For content creators, the 275-hour battery claim stands out—equivalent to over 11 days of continuous use—reducing downtime during long editing sessions or live streams. Combined with customizable buttons and Razer’s HyperSpeed wireless technology, the V4 Pro aims to serve as a versatile tool across gaming, video editing, and design applications.

The Basilisk V4 series reflects Razer’s ongoing focus on merging performance with creator-centric ergonomics. As workflows blend gaming, streaming, and production, input devices with adaptive controls and long battery life are becoming essential. The tilt wheel, in particular, signals attention to nuanced interaction needs beyond basic clicking and scrolling.

While independent testing will be needed to verify real-world battery performance and tilt wheel precision, the specs as presented suggest a strong fit for creators who demand reliability and flexibility from their peripherals. Razer’s latest release underscores the growing importance of specialized mice in professional creative setups.
