MagMod has expanded its product lineup into light support systems with the introduction of the MagStand 9 Pro and MagStand 11 Pro. Announced on November 4, 2026, these stands feature a wide-footprint aluminium design engineered for stability in studio and on-location shoots. A key innovation is the detachable center pole, which allows the stand to convert into a handheld monopod, offering added flexibility for creators who need to switch between fixed and mobile setups quickly.

The MagStand series emphasizes durability and adaptability, targeting photographers and videographers who value modularity in their gear. Constructed from high-grade aluminium, both models are built to withstand regular use while maintaining a lightweight profile suitable for transport. The wide base enhances safety when supporting heavier lighting fixtures or modifiers, addressing a common concern among content creators working in dynamic environments.

While specific load capacities, height ranges, and pricing details were not included in the initial announcement, MagMod’s reputation for precision-engineered accessories suggests these stands will integrate seamlessly with existing MagMod ecosystems, particularly their magnetic modifier system. The ability to transition from a stable stand to a monopod could appeal to hybrid shooters who alternate between tripod-based work and gimbal or handheld filming.

Availability information indicates the MagStand 9 Pro and 11 Pro are now accessible through authorized retailers and MagMod’s official channels. As creators increasingly seek multi-functional tools that reduce gear clutter and setup time, this launch positions MagMod as a contender in the evolving market for intelligent, adaptable lighting support solutions. Further details on regional pricing and bundled options may follow in the coming weeks.
