DJI continues to solidify its reputation as an industry leader in imaging technology with a substantial firmware update for the Osmo Pocket 4P. Released on November 5, 2026, version V01.02.1149 marks the most significant upgrade the dual-lens creator camera has seen since its June debut. The approximately 1.1GB download delivers meaningful enhancements that directly address creator needs for flexibility and cinematic quality in a pocket-sized form factor.

The standout feature of this update is the increased maximum zoom capability, now extended from 12x to an impressive 18x. This expansion empowers videographers and photographers to capture distant subjects with greater clarity without sacrificing portability—a crucial advantage for travel, event, and documentary creators who rely on the Osmo Pocket 4P’s all-in-one design. Complementing the zoom boost is a refined transition between the 20mm wide-angle and 60mm telephoto lenses, resulting in smoother, more seamless switching during recording.

DJI has also introduced two new creative presets tailored for specific shooting scenarios: Stage and Sunset. The Stage preset optimizes exposure and color rendering for low-light performance environments such as concerts or theatrical productions, while the Sunset preset enhances warm tones and dynamic range to beautifully capture golden-hour landscapes. These intelligent modes reduce post-production workload and help creators achieve professional looks straight out of camera.

By consistently refining its products through impactful firmware updates, DJI demonstrates its commitment to evolving creator tools beyond initial release. The Osmo Pocket 4P’s latest upgrade not only adds tangible functionality but reinforces the company’s market dominance through user-focused innovation—keeping creators equipped, inspired, and ahead of the curve.
