Echodyne has opened a new advanced radar manufacturing facility in Kirkland, Washington, to scale production of its MESA radar systems in response to growing global demand for counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS). The company announced the launch on July 9, 2026, marking a significant expansion of its U.S.-based manufacturing capacity.
The new facility spans 86,350 square feet and is designed to support annual production of more than 30,000 MESA radars. This output increase aims to address rising international interest in C-UAS solutions, particularly as drone threats evolve across commercial, infrastructure, and defense sectors.
Echodyne’s MESA radars are known for their compact size, electronic scanning capabilities, and suitability for integration into mobile and fixed-site counter-drone systems.
