Nanlite has unveiled the FC-1200C, a new high-power-draw LED fixture designed specifically for content creators seeking powerful yet portable lighting solutions. Announced alongside the FC-1200B, these models represent a step up in output from the earlier FC-720B and FC-720C fixtures released earlier in 2026. Both new models maintain Nanlite’s commitment to all-in-one design, integrating controls, power, and cooling into a compact chassis.

The FC-1200C joins a growing lineup of Nanlite fixtures aimed at balancing performance, affordability, and portability—key concerns for independent creators and small production teams. While specific technical details like lumen output or color accuracy aren’t outlined in the initial announcement, the emphasis on “higher-power-draw” suggests increased brightness over the FC-720 series, making it suitable for larger sets or challenging lighting conditions.

Designed with usability in mind, the FC-1200C retains the intuitive interface and robust build quality seen in prior Nanlite offerings. Its compact size allows for easy transport and setup, whether on location or in a home studio. The all-in-one approach eliminates the need for external ballasts or controllers, streamlining workflows for solo creators and small crews.

Positioned as an affordable upgrade path, the FC-1200C targets users who have outgrown entry-level lights but still require budget-conscious gear. By leveraging Nanlite’s established design philosophy—seen across their FC and PavoTube lines—the fixture aims to deliver reliable performance without the premium price tag associated with professional-grade cinema lights.

As of November 2, 2026, the FC-1200C is now available through major retailers and Nanlite’s official channels. For creators focused on video production, live streaming, or hybrid shoots, this release offers a compelling blend of power, portability, and value—continuing Nanlite’s trend of bringing prosumer-friendly innovation to the forefront of the lighting market.
