TTArtisan has introduced the AF 24mm f/3.8 Mini, an ultra-compact pancake prime lens designed specifically for full-frame Sony E-mount cameras. Weighing less than a standard camera battery, this lens emphasizes portability without sacrificing compatibility with Sony’s professional-grade ecosystem. The launch targets content creators and photographers who prioritize lightweight gear for travel, street, or everyday shooting scenarios.

As a manual-focus lens with electronic aperture control, the AF 24mm f/3.8 Mini integrates seamlessly with Sony E-mount bodies, supporting features like in-camera corrections and metadata transmission. While not featuring autofocus, its compact form factor and affordable price point make it an accessible option for creators expanding their lens kits. Sony cameras are widely recognized for their advanced autofocus systems and high-resolution sensor technology, making them a preferred choice among professionals and enthusiasts alike.

Priced at $99, the lens enters the market as a budget-friendly alternative to bulkier or more expensive prime lenses in the 24mm focal length range. Its pancake design minimizes protrusion from the camera body, enhancing balance and discreetness—key advantages for vloggers and documentary-style shooters. TTArtisan continues to focus on delivering minimalist, functional optics tailored to mirrorless systems.

The announcement reflects a growing trend toward lightweight, affordable accessories that complement the capabilities of modern mirrorless cameras. By aligning with Sony’s popular E-mount standard, TTArtisan ensures broad usability across current and recent full-frame models. This release underscores the brand’s commitment to innovation in compact lens design for the creator community.

Availability details and regional pricing were not included in the initial announcement. Interested buyers are advised to consult authorized retailers or TTArtisan’s official channels for purchase options and compatibility confirmation with specific Sony camera models. No further technical specifications, such as optical construction or minimum focus distance, were disclosed in the source material.
