MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems has completed an agreement to acquire the assets of MRMC (Mark Roberts Motion Control), a respected name in precision motion control systems for broadcast and production. The transaction, announced on June 28, 2026, includes the transfer of intellectual property, technology, and related assets essential to MRMC’s product lineup.

As part of the acquisition, MultiDyne has established a new subsidiary, MultiDyne Robotics and MotionControl, which will operate under the continued use of the MRMC brand. This structure ensures brand continuity for existing customers while integrating MRMC’s expertise into MultiDyne’s broader portfolio of video, fiber optic, and broadcast solutions.

The move signals MultiDyne’s strategic expansion into advanced motion control and robotics, a growing segment in professional content creation. By preserving the MRMC brand, MultiDyne aims to maintain trust with filmmakers, broadcasters, and live production teams who rely on MRMC’s robotic camera systems for sports, entertainment, and studio environments.

MultiDyne Robotics and MotionControl will focus on developing and supporting MRMC’s existing product range while exploring new innovations in automated camera control and remote production. No changes to current product support, warranties, or service agreements were indicated in the announcement.

For content creators, the acquisition reinforces MultiDyne’s commitment to delivering integrated, high-performance tools for modern workflows. The preservation of the MRMC brand suggests a focus on stability and continuity during the transition, minimizing disruption for users invested in MRMC’s ecosystem.

Further details about product roadmaps, pricing, or specific technical integrations have not been disclosed at this time. MultiDyne emphasized that the new division will operate with a focus on innovation, reliability, and serving the evolving needs of the professional video industry.
