Godox Courts Creators With LT1 Pixel Light and ES01 Suction Mount

Godox is courting creators with two very different products: the LT1 Creative Pixel Light, a tiny customizable pixel-art light that mounts on a camera, and the ES01 electric suction cup system that sticks lights to windows, cars and other smooth surfaces. Together they show a lighting company thinking about content creation as a distinct discipline rather than a smaller version of film production.

The LT1 is the playful one. The 37-gram light is a grid of individually controllable pixels, adjustable for brightness and color, that can display pixel art, scrolling text, hearts and brand logos, with a companion smartphone app for custom designs. It mounts via cold shoe or magnets and is shaped, somewhat eccentrically, like Godox’s white bull mascot. Beyond decoration, it doubles as a wireless controller that can switch Godox lights on and off with a tap, making it arguably the most stylish light remote on the market. It launched alongside the Litemons LE600R RGB LED monolight for filmmakers.

The ES01 is the practical one. The electric suction cup mounts support up to 4.4 pounds, enough for Godox’s AD100Pro through AD300Pro flashes and several LED panels, plus any baby-pin or quarter-inch compatible light under the weight limit. The single-cup ES01 sells for $29, with a three-cup K3 kit at $79 for heavier fixtures. For creators, it unlocks placements that previously needed stands, clamps or gaffer tape: car interiors, windows, mirrors and glossy walls.

The throughline is friction reduction. Creator lighting lives and dies on setup time, and both products attack it from opposite ends, one making the light itself fun enough to leave on the camera, the other making placement nearly effortless.

The takeaway: if your videos need visual personality, the LT1 is a cheap way to add branded motion to a static setup; if your shoots fight locations, the ES01 kit earns its $79 the first time it replaces a C-stand. Test suction mounts on your actual surfaces before trusting them over a shoot, and keep the weight limits honest.
